This superb Regency-style, Parisian commode dates from the eighteenth century. Note the scrolled feet and scallop shell motif. There are five drawers in total - three small, two large and one secret without a handle. The handles are brass and the drawers slide smoothly. The distressed white patina was applied some time ago (we assume 30-50 years ago). No keys.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
