Currently there are 3 options to carry a Nalgene on a bike.  The Tanaka Dromedary is your go to for gravel and road.  Easy in, easy out.  If you wanna ride rougher stuff, strap the Nalgene in with a Voile strap so it doesn’t take a powder.  Ideal for 32 oz Nalgenes.  48’s are pushing the integrity of the cage a bit.  

Need a beefier cage and don’t mind the extra heft?  Get a Velo Orange Mojave cage.  Need a lighter cage and don’t mind always strapping in?  Get a King Manything cage.
